Yeah today's wordle was a quick one. Didn't even finish my shit.

That's made me think: SHITE could be a good opener if it's in the games dictionary.

Lorraine Kelly has just picked up on this new craze that's apparently 'taken the internet by storm' and Adil Ray got massively upset when he realised that it's effectively a spin on his TV show Lingo that he presents on ITV

I'm pretty sure I used to play a pencil-and paper version of this back in the day - also akin to Mastermind.

Wordle's slightly easier in that it tells you which letters are right (and right but in the wrong place); with Mastermind-like rules you just get told how many.

Slightly easier because you get told which ones are right, slightly harder because Mastermind has six colours, Wordle has 26 letters, then slightly easier again because the letters have to form words...

I don't know where it ends up.

Yeah, but the game I was talking about had you guessing a word, with the results given blind (one in right place, two in wrong place). Can't remember the number of letters we used to use.

Of course now my wife doesn't believe me, she thinks I've clearly done it earlier and just forgotten I did it. This is more frustrating than the days I don't get it at all..
