This one was a pain:

At this point I was stumped. So the vowels gone except U! So I made up a word to see if it was valid:

 

UNDEE

 

Then I saw it. I'd thought of this word on the fifth turn, but had immediately dismissed it as not a real word, because I was thinking of  very similar four letter word. Then I realised that with a slightly different pronunciation, it is valid after all:

Yeah, 'chewy' is exactly what I was thinking of as an adjective.
