Don’t worry, I’ve tried every day for over a week to contact Sony support and they’ve solved this by ignoring any and all attempts.

Had a go on OlliOlli World and the framerate was incredibly juddery. I dunno if its because its trying to display at 120hz when my TV doesn't support it but I didn't see an option to change it.

Support said they'd get back to me in a day. Didn't.

 

In the meantime my sub was about to lapse (due date end of this week) and on Sunday my partner got me to resub (under protest) as she's still using it and she doesn't really give a toss about Mafia.

 

So I renew my sub for a year. And you know what fixes itself the moment I do that?

 

You guessed it. Suddenly I can add Mafia to my library and download it.

 

I hope that's not going to be the solution every time, just resub for a year.

 

And lol a day later I get an email from support.

For anyone else having the same issue if your sub is about to lapse this month and you aren't sick of Sony yet resubbing might do the trick.

Yeah it's decent. I've just fucking bought it as well.

I bought a 12 month sub to PSN ages ago from shopto (over 12 months, more like 16) and went to redeem it yesterday (hadn’t needed to use it until then) but it’s telling me the code has expired. Messaged shopto support and their codes do expire after 12 months which I guess is my own fault for not heeding the T+Cs. It’s no less annoying though. 
 

I guess there’s no point in grumbling to Sony?

I checked, I don't. I've got the kitchen demo and the beginning thing and the actual game tells me to upgrade. If I owned it the console would say DOWNLOAD and it doesn't.
