They still haven't cracked PS3 emulation. Even on PC it's still hit and miss (though getting better all the time). For PS5 I don't imagine they are even trying, they are just trying to wring a bit of extra life out of their now moribund PS3 streaming set up.

They have done already, Echochrome is a PSP game that you can buy that's in the premium tier, am hoping they do the same with Ridge Racer 2 later today. Got it on the Vita but happy to pay for it on the TV, don't want to upgrade to premium. Again, Echochome is labelled as PS4/PS5 so you have to search for the actual game. Sony are so stupid sometimes

Can you buy the port of Valkyrie Profile Lenneth? It's included in the Digital Deluxe version of Valkyrie Elysium but can't find it separately?

Its showing as announced on the web store, release delayed until the 22nd of December. So should be there thursday. Did a search for Lenneth that brought it up as Valkyrie brought up loads of stuff

Hmm, I'll try Back 4 Blood for free. Never wanted to pay for it as the reviews were less than glowing (I remember the ridiculously high difficulty level was one big complaint people had).

Probably just JETT for me this month. It's the sort of divisive game that I'm reluctant to buy but want to try out.

 

Played Back 4 Blood when it came to Game Pass and thought it was terrible.

I haven't tried SE, but the base DMC5 experience is ace. Probably the most satisfying combat variety and depth in the series, and it's perhaps not quite as brutal as earlier games because you have so many options. (Although it's still no cakewalk!)

Oh, still vague on what the top tier is called. But when I went to check out the 69.99 one it appeared as 99.99.

Between this and finding out the PS5 doesn’t do 3D Blu-ray today, Sony are fucking dorks.

I'm in the same boat. I want to resubscribe on the basic plan with the discount (my sub ends in a few days time) but it won't let me because I'm already subscribed. Grrr.

Even more of a joke is that if I want to upgrade to the next tier I get a 30% discount BUT only for the remaining days I have left, so I save pennies. Then Sony hit me for full price a few days later.

 

I like the basic PSPlus, it's all I need, but sod Sony if they expect me to continue subscribing by "rewarding" my loyalty in this way.
