The difficulty is insane! I have it on Switch, but I’ll give it another go with manageable load times.

The nature of the toys means all the tracks look identical making it difficult to not fly blind through the first lap. The car selection makes all the difference, but even with a decent setup it only takes one mistake flying out of bounds to be royally screwed.

It got good reviews/word of mouth but I think the difficulty was a bit off going between easy/medium.

Indeed it was! I unfortunately bought it and spent a bit of time on it. Fun game. Regret buying it though thought it would be a nice little arcade racer to scratch the itch but never really got on with it.

If it's on PS+ worth a try I guess... Just need a bit of time and a download!

Coming up to a year since I got the £25 PSNow deal which was a bargain to be fair, especially after it converted to Premium. I'm only going to be renewing at the basic Essential tier as even though Extra is genuinely brilliant and something I'd recommend to most I just don't play enough myself for it or any similar service to be worthwhile. Premium is actual shit that I wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Thought I'd try a few full game trials while I still can and wow, Horizon Forbidden West is awful. Looks wonderful (if a bit too busy to appreciate) but after an hour I had to delete it - feels off to play and has such a bland and generic intro that almost sent me to sleep. I really liked the first game and was expecting to love this but urgh, so soulless. In stark contrast I thought I'd try Cyberpunk expecting to take in the graphics while otherwise hating it... and found it to be really very good! It's nice to be pleasantly surprised.

I've played everything I'd be interested in apart from Dragon Quest Heroes II. I don't really mind as I've got about sixty games installed and can do some catch-up on those, but it's hardly the most inspiring line-up.

Not a single PS1 or PS2 game added either. The premium tier is a joke.

I read that they have weird graphical glitches on PS5, just about the only PS4 games to have an issue. Ubi are so technically weird, AC games didn't work with rest mode on PS4 when it first came out - again, just about the only games to have an issue. I suppose you can play them via streaming, at least.

Not in Australia you can't. (Our internet is too crap for game streaming.)

Today we’re happy to reveal November’s Monthly Games for PlayStation Plus. Take on savage foes with traditional weapons and supernatural abilities in Nioh 2, cast spells and solve puzzles in Lego Harry Potter Collection and take to the stars for physics sim Heavenly Bodies.

These titles can be enjoyed by PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members from Tuesday November 1.  The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog lineup for October will be announced later this month.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the Monthly Games.

Unsheathe your deadly weapons and cut down all enemies in your path using a revamped combat system and the ability to transform into a full Yokai to unleash devastating paranormal powers.

PlayStation Plus members can add both Nioh 2 on PS4 and Nioh 2 Remastered to their game library.

Lego Harry Potter Collection | PS4

The Lego Harry Potter Collection brings together Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 remastered! This compilation unites the creative prowess of Lego and the expansive world of Harry Potter, with an exciting journey full of spell-casting, potion-making, puzzle-solving, lessons, dueling and much more. Enjoy two player fun either local or online.

E: I know this isn't the usual monthly PS+ free games thread but I think people (me) already started posting the details in here a while back so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I'm happy for someone to create a thread if they want.

Oh shit.

I’m up to about 300 hours on NioH 2 and I’m completely obsessed with it. The combat systems are unrivalled in my opinion. If you can break over its (high) wall of entry there is an absurd amount of content.

The last few months I have found so little from the subscription, it's no better than ps now was before and the content (especially for the premium subscription) has been inadequate I feel. I think for me I'm going back to the base sub come the new year. I have this a go as I had PS now before hand and so it felt more like a trial but I just don't feel like it's gone down that well sadly.

I would like to give it a go again in the future but for now I can't justify the higher price with the lack of content that appeals to me. (Part of this could just be the lack of games coming out, almost everything coming to the subscription is a fair few years old so anything I would play I already have done.

My sub is up for renewal soon, I have premium at the moment, is there a way of re-subbing cheaply or is it just a case on finding cheap(er) PSN credit and paying whatever the price is on the store?

Sony themselves have done PS+ discounts for Black Friday in the past, so deffo worth waiting till then if you can.
