Another month, another PS+ Extra title being passed across to Essential (Little Nightmares).

Tony Hawks and Yakuza are nice, though.

I know someone will have asked this before but if I boot up my PS3, will I be able to download and play the PS3 stream-only games on Premium? It seems logical (and fair) but I’m assuming Sony being Sony means no. Has anyone tried it?

Another month, another sad glance across to my shelf to see the still wrapped disc version of the game that is arriving.

I was hoping that they'd release huge swaths of retro games every month. End up releasing really interesting niche retro titles that I've always wanted to try since I was a kid.

They are! Yakuza Like A Dragon contains OutRun, Space Harrier, Super Hang On, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Fighter 5 FS and Fantasy Zone.

I really like how they're releasing all of the Yakuza games in one go, and they released practically all of the Ass Creed games. If they went ahead with the entire Gran Turismo series, and the entire Metal Gear Solid series, I'd be over the moon.

I think I’d rather they staggered the Yakuza games. I don’t know how long stuff stays on PS+ but I doubt it will be long enough for me to play all of them.

They aren't putting all of the Yakuza games up in one go.

The labelling of PS1 and PS2 games is an utter disaster. Sure, they can be PS4 applications under the hood, but for god's sake, they shouldn't be labeled as such in the store or on your PlayStation's UI. They should have their own 'PS1' and 'PS2' labels and metadata tags.

 

The fact that they have actually rolled out specific PS5 builds at all is utterly baffling to me.
