FF7 dlc is fucked if you already own FF7 remake. Apparently it’s the way PSN catalogues stuff and Square not having a separate entry for the DLC on its own. So either Square sorts it out or you gotta go in and delete the FF7 remake licence and download intergrade on its own.

I could delete the original but won’t the store still know I own it and block the download of intergrade?

 

I don’t fancy losing my save and starting from scratch but maybe that won’t matter. Are the extra missions completely standalone?

Isn't that just the message Elden Ring gives when it can't find the PSN server? I got it too when testing another game as Hunt Showdown was not connecting due to PSN being down. Try another online game?

yeah sounds like total hassle and I would never delete a 60 hour save no matter. I’m hanging on till Square fixes it tbh. Just play the cat game in the meantime

Tried Tekken again as a test later and got the same error, went through the PS app and that's allowed me to add it to library and sent me the email confirming I've 'bought' it, whether that now allows me to actually play it is another thing.

 

I've not really seen the Xbox equivalent but I'm assuming the interface and actual usability is better than this.

What the utter shite is going on with Final Fantasy 7 Remake?

 

The store shows the final fantasy 7 remake and Final Fantasy 7 remake intergrade are both available to play. When I click on either of them they both say that unavailable because I already own Final Fantasy 7 remake. I don’t, I owned it on disc (I sold it a while ago). 
 

If I click the context menu I can see

 

“FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE upgrade for PS4 version”

“FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE INTERGRADE DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION”

“FINAL FANTASY 7 PS4”
“FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE digital deluxe edition PS4”

 

If I go to any of these, it tells me I can’t buy them because I own FF7 PS4 already, which I don’t. 
 

If I go to “FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE upgrade for PS4 version” I have a drop down to change “GAME” to “GAME”. When I change “GAME” to “GAME” and wait about ten seconds, “learn more” changes to “add to library”, which I did. It then downloaded a small amount of data. 
 

Now I seem to be able to launch the PS5 version sans DLC despite it saying it’s unavailable, but not the PS4 version, which I apparently own and can download but can’t launch.
 

Meanwhile on Xbox/PC: click.

The first one has an amazing setting but....it's a bit awkward to play now with loads of insta-fail parts.

 

I originally started with Assassin's Creed 2 and the Ezio trilogy is a good jumping in point.

Super Star Wars as well is part of Premium but doesn't allow me to download. Not sure why I want to put myself through trying to play it again but there it is.

 

It's a mess compared to how good GamePass is.

There's a few they're still missing. The China/Russia/India ones for instance - which don't work on a PS5 even if you buy them.

Not that I remember but this would definitely explain it. It can’t be working as intended, it seems broken. Especially the dropdown showing

My 1TB internal, 1TB SSD, and 5TB USB drives were all filled instantly. I've been juggling ever since.

I bought everything (Remake and Intermission) so I'm not sure what's going on with the Plus stuff... but the individual DLC bits should have their own pages:
