Can the thread title be changed to ‘PlayStation Plus Premium - Presently Purchasable’ ?

Seriously loving the Premium service so far. Been dipping in and out of games via Steaming... Some great content on there.

Extra is the top tier with the retro and the streaming.

No it isn’t

Honestly, if a 20-year-old nerdy gaming forum can’t get it right what chance do the mainstream public have.

Should be PS Plus, PS Premium, PS Premium + Cloud.

Or something.

Everything is self explanatory when you have a grid in front of you.

It’s super hard to picture what the tiers are called and what you actually get included. They’ve sacrificed simplicity for the perception of value. But confusing customers into paying for the top tier is probably their ultimate goal.

Yeah fair enough...and agree with the last point. I expect the yearly price will rise after a bit too as it seems to be a great introductory price to get people to bite...

Should've called it PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Plus Colour and PlayStation Plus Advance

PlayStation, Super PlayStation, PlayStation 64.

I had a free hour from work so tried out some games with the streaming option and impressed it works very well. I tried Celeste, Doom & Last Day of June.

I was convinced I would have issues with lag, pop-in, etc but nothing! Will certainly look to play game via streaming now if avalable as an option.

I had exactly the same experience with the streaming last night! I’ve never had good performance with Xcloud so wasn’t expecting anything from the PS Plus equivalent but was very shocked to find out that virtually everything I played was very viable.

Particularly enjoyed Motorstorm Apocalypse and Devil May Cry HD. I was kind of blown away actually, it makes the prospect of the classics catalogue much more exciting if they can keep a steady stream of games going.

I’ve found it takes bloody aaaaaages to boot up a PS3 on streaming. To the point where it would be quicker to set my PS3 up and load games on it directly. But once running, aside from black being dark grey for some reason, it’s fine.

Echochrome, the only PSP game on the service, has been removed. After less than a month. Yay Sony.

does that mean it's been revoked or you just can't add it if you haven't already?

Thought this was quite self explanatory really?!

https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/ps-plus/?smcid=pdc%3Aen-gb%3Aprimary nav%3Amsg-services%3Aps-plus#subscriptions

There is only around £8 difference between Premium and Extra for a yearly sub too so making Premium pretty much a no brainer IMHO.

Its nearer to £20 than it is to £8?

Add me to the no idea what the tiers are until you see the grids - Im not even sure how the streaming works, can you stream to an iPad for example?

It seems to be available for me. Also, Super Stardust Portable is on the service which is a PSP game.

I've had a look again, when you say removed do you mean it's disappeared or you get a message that it's not available? Cos there are a few games on there where it's telling me it's not available on the app.

Oh, hadn’t realised they’d added that since the start of the new service. Thought they weren’t adding any more for another week or so yet.

Says “unavailable” on the PS5 store itself.

I've got a bunch of games like that for some reason on the app, no rhyme nor reason either. They haven't been removed from the service, they just come up like that.
