I didn’t know that! The mechanisms to control the players are incredible to look at. Whilst having it in bits and it fall apart as It took the top section off, having to rebuild it gave me a real appreciation of the design.

I'm pretty sure it's this game just converted for the UK market - I think this one came first. When you look at it the mechanics do make more sense for ice hockey but it works well as a football game as well.

I remember these. I always wanted one but never got it.

 

Did anyone here ever have the occasional Toy Day at their primary school? No lessons or anything, just everyone bringing in their favourite toys for everyone else to play with. That's when I finally got to play on one properly.
