Yet also seemed to be hinting in the Industry Magazines thread that he's a movie director.

And I thought this was the Man Utd thread. Not sure what our day jobs have to do with it.

Anyway, hopefully the game goes ahead and the outbreak isn't too serious. Maybe a few of them could take their fucking vaccines also.

According to the internet, that's the only time we have played them. We lost the away leg 3-0, and the tie 4-1 on aggregate.

I kind of think PSG would have been a better game, but this might be marginally easier if we can keep our heads and not get anyone sent off. This Atleti side aren't quite as good as they were at their peak.

Funny how Man U get to cancel a game with a couple of cases, when other teams are threatened with fines or lost points when they had more...

I can't seem to find your post in the Spurs thread last weekend when their match against Brighton got postponed.

 2 according to @merman

I said “a couple”. That’s what the media was reporting Sunday and Monday, not the 10+ that Tottenham and Norwich were coping with including backroom staff.

It is officially the worst week for positive tests since Project Restart in August 2020, with 42 positive tests among playing staff.

And I didn’t post in the Tottenham thread because they approached the Premier League through the proper channels and only had 11 players fit. So they had every reason to call off the game where Man U’s smaller number of cases did not merit a postponement. Clear? Good.

How did Man United do it then? You seem to be very well informed about the situation and how it's been handled!

"the media" were reporting that the club had spoken to the Premier League about it which I assume comes under the proper channels? We've had players test positive previously but haven't gone down the route of closing down the whole of our training complex so I'm going to take a massive guess that there are potentially more than 2 players involved here.

That last little bit of snark at the end makes it look like you're just in here to take pot shots and troll or something.

Look at the date in that tweet, the 15th. More than 24 hours after I posted.

Those numbers weren’t being reported when the game was called off. So my perception of it was that Man U had far fewer cases than the other clubs mentioned, and certainly fewer than when Norwich were told to go ahead and play Man U on Saturday (which looks like it was the source).

No trolling, just an opinion on how clubs are treated differently.
