The direct feed gameplay I've seen so far's always a bit weird. When someone's too cautious or... well , any time they attempt to use ranged combat, it always looks a bit iffy since they miss every shot and you clearly don't get much ammo.  However, you also get sections like 23 minutes in where the in close combat has a good dose of mobility and interrupts.

21:25 is also great. That sausage looks pretty good, as does the death coffee.

Voice acting should have been more of a priority as well, I'm not adverse to having uncommon accents in there (I think this aspect could be awesome, actually) but the deliveries just sound wrong, like there's the wrong type of emotion behind the word and that they don't match the intent or onscreen action. (And weirdly, they digitized the best voice acting I'd heard so far, the Irish guy from the first trailer offering Stone a way out of prison.)

I'm in because I want this to be awesome. It's totally my kinda game, but the footage so far really does oscillate between 'That's Rad' and 'Yikes, this clearly needs more time'.

While it does sound a little off I do really like the voice actor. Especially in combination with the excellent character design, it gives her a very unique personality.

Gameplay wise I'm less convinced, but hopefully they will use the time they have left well. It feels like there's an awesome game in here that's not quite there yet.

This project's so weird. They made an anime music video about a waitress waitressing because... waitress gonna waitress?

I appreciate that this is something of a homage to the original Donna Summer music video, but yes, it's still a bit of an off-beat choice of marketing!

(it's a banging tune, just a shame they evidently could only afford to get the song covered, rather than using the original)

I didn't think it was too bad, pretty cute. Well, until you die and lose all your power ups and then it's suddenly hard as all hell. That's a problem.

It's also required for the plat in-game, so that's gonna be a ballache.

OST for the main game seems totally solid, some great tracks in there with more than acceptable covers of the originals. Prove Me Wrong's my kinda jam.

I was hoping this would be shit but good, but the combat trailer doesn't make it look much fun. It gives me the impression it'll be slow and erratic to control, with no real flow.

Edit: On a second viewing, it looks fucking awful. Hard to believe those are the bits they actually chose to show in a trailer.
