Wanted: Dead. Cyberpunk hack and slash actioner out now!

Looks very early, and the enemies are being very accommodating by backing off as their comrades are hacked to bits, but I'm in.

Edit: Team Soleil rather than Itagaki's new studio, so more from the team behind Devil's Third... which isn't a turnoff for me at all. Totally in! Low budget but entertaining dross is totally my jam.

Ohhh yes. Love these sorts of games and there would appear to be no shortage of them on the horizon.

I loved Devil's Third. Brutal mix of slicing and shooting. Sure it was a little low rent but Team Ninja know how to make the core action satisfying. Nice to see Team Ninja still in the game to be honest, after the failure of Devil's Third, I thought they'd quietly disbanded. I wonder who's publishing?

It's not like she's the same design, but there's definite shades of the secondary character from the  Devil's Third reveal trailer. The storyline's too far removed (all the electronics were buggered, this looks way more high tech), but given how much the gameplay premise looks like a continuation of Devil's Third it'd be amazing if this basically was a direct sequel.

Lieutenant Stone's a pretty cool design. Irish voiceover guy gets a thumbs up from me too.

Yeah, now my most anticipated game on premise alone.

Apparently the ingame music's being done by Dasha Rush. Looked some of her sets up on youtube, and while it's not something I'd listen to outside the game the stuff she makes could make for some decent ambient BGM in a semi-cyberpunk setting.

There's a quite fascinating presentation in Russian from when I assume 110 Industries were going around to various potential investors in 2020 with game ideas showing the potential lucrative profitability from punting some money, including slides for a potential Alien licensed game which may or may not have been greenlit yet. The other 2 have subsequently entered production, and according to the presentation, they had 8 potential projects in development.

Apart from Wanted: Dead, they have Vengeance is Mine and Red Goes Faster announced.

Vengeance is Mine is some sort of mech game:

Vengeance Is Mine’s, brutal melee mech combat is augmented with a time-manipulation mechanic that adds a fascinating twist to encounters. Thanks to the capabilities of the HYDRA mech suit, the player will have the ability to speed up time and blink towards unsuspecting enemies, or rewind time to readjust combos or evade death. HYDRA also comes packing an energy-based projectile weapon that allows you to take on foes at distance.

Red Goes Faster is a story-based Sci-Fi racing game:

We are thrilled to announce that Red Goes Faster, a sci-fi racer offering a complementary contrast between exhilarating racing and an intriguing love-triangle-infused story, is heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

They've also hired Stefanie Joosten to work on the first two games.

It's definitely not polished enough to be mentioned in the same breath as Miike, but it is one of my favourite movies. Absolutely, endearingly dumb as rocks, as only a zombie b-movie action romance created as a vehicle for a rock band could be.

Edge 6/10 good, no less.

Not gonna lie, this is all I want this year. It's a shame all the trailers have been quick cuts though, be nice to see an extended gameplay run by someone who knows what they're doing.

Anyway, you can sledgehammer heads, so that's cool. And there's voice lines synced to death animations as you can see at 59 seconds in.

Tonally, 100% my kinda game.
