Might be an obvious question, but does this new service mean that anything Paramount-related is going to disappear from Netflix and Prime for good in the next year or so?

Probably.

I subbed to test it out. I compared the same episode of TNG and ... they looked exactly the same. I then tried MI: Fallout and that looked a bit ropey - not low bit rate, but raised blacks, very grainy image. This was very late last night mind you.

I've got an older style sky box (not sky q) and all the paramount content seems to have gone from being downloadable, it was there on launch and i got a few things but now can't find them anymore using search.

Starter Super Pumped the UIber thing last night, was OK, watching more for the story as tonally it seems a bit off.

Odd as shows still seem to be there if I go in via catch up, but aren't searchable.

seems it's how it's meant to be, although was searchable the other day on launch

Load of crap the way this has been handled.   I can only watch via sky go atm so even though it’s there I can’t access it.  Tried signing up by the link earlier so I could download the app but that doesn’t work either.  Guess I’ll wait until strange new worlds is up (which is another rant on the way that’s been handled)and binge it in one go.

Not only is it crap not being on demand via Sky Go they're also holding content back to try and make you use the service I guess, and get used to going back checking for stuff.

The first 3 eps of Super Pumped (the Uber thing) are up but the next 4, which have been broadcast in the US, are only going to be released 1 a week on weds.

The Game Pass 1-month trial is listed in the GPU mobile app’s perks section, but isn’t currently active. Maybe later today. You have to use it by 28/08. So hopefully time for all of Halo and ST:SNW to be up.

It seems to have been removed!

Has it gone again? I can’t find it on my Xbox.

EDIT: Found it in perks, and it says 30 days free, but when I follow the link in Edge on the Xbox, or use the QR code on my phone, it only says seven days. Glitched, or am I missing something glaringly obvious?

Ok, the reason I posted above to ask if it had vanished again, was because as there is the 30 trial promotion with Xbox Live, I stupidly thought that meant there was an app for it.  But nothing in the search still.

As I mentioned, it does say you only get seven days not thirty when you click through for sign-up.  However, it does let you pick the full thirty days once you click through, although the screen I ended up totally contradicts itself:

But eventually I've signed up.  Now the real issues start.  How do I watch the fucking thing?  No Xbox app, so I logged in via Edge and nothing will play, it just hangs.  They have managed to launch without a native app for LG TVs, so from the help section:

Ok, not so bad.  Except I can't log-in with the account I've just created.  I can only select a new sign-up with a seven day trial using and paying from my Apple account.

My Paramount account has linked with Apple, because any shows I try and watch in the iOS app appear in now Watch Next in the LG App TV app.  However, when I select one of them on the LG, it prompts me to sign up for a free seven day trial, or buy the show / movie.

What a fucking fuckshow.

Yea, Paramount’s website is just lying, neither Xbox nor PlayStation are listed as a supported device on the page that lists up everything that is.

On which devices can I watch Paramount+?

It supports Chromecast, so I’m fine, but work to do clearly.

My TV still doesn’t have a Disney + or Apple TV app, so holding out no hope that Philips will get on top of this service any time soon.
