Yeah I’m a bit unsure with this. I’ve used them for years and had no problems at all, but they’re flagged on gg.deals as a ‘keyshop’ and not an official source, and I’ve seen references on here questioning their authenticity.

CD Keys buy their keys in bulk from other regions, as I understand it, but they are legit keys. What you want to be wary of are the sites where keys being sold are stolen or obtained fraudulently (say, by pretending to be a streamer and getting keys for review, then selling them off), as those keys could be cancelled by the publisher and leave you high and dry.

 

No such issues with CD Keys, to my knowledge.

Yep - as mentioned, it needs to be listed as a grey market on places like GG.deals based on the keys they're providing, but I've also used them for years with zero issue. At the very least, I trust the site a hell of a lot more than Kinguin.

 

Just beat Toem on my lunch break. It's a lovely little adventure, and well worth the money spent on Humble Monthly for it. All Our Asias is also very pleasant, a PSX-style walking sim from the developer who made Anodyne.

 

I'm guessing my next set of games to go through will be Mothmen 1966, BABBDI and If On A Winter's Night, Four Travellers before going back to Clannad for another ten hours

No, it’s legit but you’ll need to send me all your bank details, date of birth, mothers maiden name and the model of your first car for it to work.

You could just put gamepass on your steamdeck and play it on the cloud, complete with your existing save file.

 

As long as you have a decent connection and given you were happy to play it on switch then the resolution drop shouldn’t be too much worry.

Only by about a couple of quid. As mentioned, you can stream it via Gamepass, but it is a slight faff to set up and as a new deck owner I'd probably leave it.

 

Tunic is brilliant, though - well worth the money, and my GOTY 2022.

I did! Had a look at how to get Game Pass on there but it looked a bit confusing and I really wanted it anyway. It’s brilliant.

 

How so you access the setting that lets you adjust frame rate and refresh rate?

This happens to me sometimes, usually after a Steam update and I have to manually re-install. After that it's fine and the plugins and settings are still there

The bottom right button brings up a menu, the battery symbol has all that in it plus more.

 

Pro tip: use the ‘per game profile’ switch for that stuff otherwise it will be the default for everything.

The flat bottom-right button with three dots on it. It's known as the QAM (quick access menu) button.

 

Also, hold onto either the Steam or QAM button for a few seconds - it'll pull up a list of handy commands (they're also universal - for example, pulling up the keyboard can be done with either Steam Button + X, or the QAM button + X)

Had to roll back the SteamOS to get it installed again. But have it again now.

WHAT. I had no idea! Makes sense though as to do stuff needing the left hand side was claw city.
