A good way of looking at it, but I feel like the issue isn't whether it's a happy or sad ending. More that it feels like it doesn't have an ending at all. A shame, as a lot of the stuff beforehand was great.

Its in vein with the comics but so far the the series has been disappointing due to the limitation of the episode length more so.

I’ve got into this with the last few episodes. I think the concept art style works very well in this context, certainly feels of the times. Voice acting is good, as you’d expect, and I laughed a few times in the latest episode. So yeah, pleasantly surprised by this.

The Harry Potter gag made me laugh, but the episode was absolute dogshit. If they do a follow up in season 2 I'll skip the episode. What a waste of my fucking time. Half the cast phoned it in too.

I'm finding the cast very poor- hardly any of the characters sound like themselves.  Sebastian Stan and Emily Vancamp in this episode.

 

Pauls Rudd  and Bettany at least sounded like their characters.

As someone who read Marvel Zombies back in the day I gave this one a try. I kinda liked it. Certainly better than the first episode which is the only other one I've watched. Mainly because of Paul Rudd.

 

Not quite sure why people are confused about the ending.

The whole "the end? Or is it?" is just a massive horror movie trope.

 

I'd probably have preferred them to end it as the jet goes towards the sunset in a Dawn of the Dead homage rather than the Thanos reveal though.

I’ve enjoyed all of these episodes. The fact that it’s animated, played for laughs and condensed into 30-minutes means I am able to happily overlook plot holes and inconsistencies. I think @Alex W. said it best - it’s purposefully stupid. It gives permission to the viewer to come along for the ride and not worry too much about the finer details - we’re not taking this too seriously, so you shouldn’t either. 
 

I really enjoyed seeing Betty Ross in episode 3; I liked the bad ending to episode 4; and Captain Carter was a lovely idea. I also note that episodes 1 and 4 were linked by a certain tentacled, inter-dimensional being. Just a bit of cheeky fan-service, or are we being primed for something yet to come, I wonder?

Probably the weakest one of the season so far. On the whole though, I've really been enjoying what if, so I'll let them off this once...

Yeah, this one was just boring. Though I thought the rdj copy cat was good, and the paltrow (Beth Hoyt) one was spot on, I could barely tell.

I have no idea who Killmonger is. I recognised the container ship from Age of Ultron, so I assume he's the baddie in Black Panther (which I've not seen)?

Both the last two felt like they just stopped. The episode that ended with ego and quill did a much better job of telling a story but leaving the implications of the ending open. Both these just felt like they ran out of time and had to stop. What’s annoying though is that moment to moment I was enjoying them both, probably because they have stuff a bit more time so the pacing felt better. But the abrupt, unsatisfying endings were both really rubbish and ruined my enjoyment of the episodes. 
 

I really like seeing the interplay between weird character combinations like hope and Peter and pepper and young shuri. Plus the opportunity to show us versions of characters from earlier than their canon introductions in the MCU. And the sound is excellent, the use of the music from black Panther in the latest one was brilliant. Shame about the overall plotting but tonnes of good scenes. I also feel like the last few were much better at exploring the consequences of the change, rather than just telling the same story with minor differences. If they could nail down the pacing it could be really special.

I've not seen this weeks episode but so far I've felt Captain Carter was the weakest. Just felt its was switching two characters around whereas the others were completely new things.

The animation and art style is perfectly fine but I'm reiterating other people's comments here in that the voice acting just feels... off.

I liked this one, probably the most, as I haven't been that impressed with the series so far. 

 

The guy voicing Stark does a FAR better job of emulating RDJ than most of the regular voice cast doing themselves. Which is kinda preposterous.

Cant say I disagree with this.

At least half the cast of returning actors are clearly just phoning it in. 

 

I think the best episode for voice acting was the one where T'Challa was Starlord. But even that episode had Del Toro stinking the place up, he was fucking atrocious!
