My boring answer is Madonna (Louise Ciccone). Right when True Blue came out. Lapped up every video.

Not boring, Madonna was a sex megabomb going off in the early 80's like nothing else at the time.

Started with the typical Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani, but then I started buying Kerrang! and saw a picture of Brody Dalle

I've only ever had one music crush and that was Victoria Beckham when the Spice Girls first appeared on the scene. Entirely my type.

More a movie guy so the big 3 have been Sandra Bullock, Rachel Weisz and Monuca Bellucci.

As a child, Betty Boo - as a teen, we’ll it was the britpop era so Sonya Madan & Louise Wener. Also Hope Sandoval and Tanya Donnelly, but they didn’t get a lot of media coverage in the UK so it was just seeing them on the cover of the NME or whatever.

As a teenager in the 90s, Karen Poole from Alisha’s Attic was a huge crush of mine (pictured on the right)…

She reminded me of Alicia Silverstone, plus she was a cracking singer.

Turns out she’s also a hugely successful songwriter for folk like Kylie, Will Young and more…
