Man alive this is so much more fun with the traction control off. Okay it'll be shit in some silly S-class supercar but everything else is great. The satnav should go "in 400 yards, drift right" because I'm power-sliding around each junction.

The environment and cars look amazing, it’s going to be a fantastic world to explore but so far the driving is not blowing me away. I’ve played a lot of WRC 9, Wreckfest and Dirt 5 recently and the surface feeling is portrayed much better in those. I just don’t get the same transition in this, barrelling along the road in my Corvette Stingray, ran wide onto a sandy bit and just kept foot in, didn’t lose the backend or dig in at all, hardly slowed. It probably doesn’t help that I’m playing with a 360 pad, I guess the vibrations are much better on newer pads as they feel pretty week on this. Can I use a DS4 with the PC XBOX App?

It might do this right at the beginning before you have hardly played and likely have not had chance to turn off all the assists. Surprised that much was played before running into the thread to shit everywhere.

Jesus mate, you’re acting a bit pathetic and getting a bit personal. I play PC, Switch, PS and previously XB360 plus PC FH3 and now FH5 so get off with the PS fanboy bullshit or just put me on ignore.

 

Why not just reply with why you think the off-road is better than those games or perhaps some controller advice like I asked for?

so, no, that doesn’t happen. Perhaps you’re doing races that end up at the festival.

 

and turn the assists off. It’s not dirt rally, but it doesn’t intend to be, but while you have assists on you’re not going to see much.

Hmm definitely just happened after the Mexico Circuit event, perhaps I’m pressing something when I exit/finish.

I don’t have assists on, sim steering, no TC or stability.

Because engaging with somebody who has made it obvious they are coming at this in bad faith is pointless.

 

People who have played the game 'oh wow the off road stuff is amazing'.

Console warrior with history of shitposting in the thread 'oh the off road is terrible'.

 

At least you didn't give us another post about why you think The Real Tedium Simulator (GT) is better this time. So small mercies at least.

You have done nothing but try to put a negative spin on anything to do with this game since it was announced. Remember how you tried that bullshit about the off road racing a while back, and everyone called your nonsense then? Now you have put in about 5 minutes by the sounds of it and are straight in here, and despite a number of people saying they find the off road racing to be incredible fun you were immediately on it with the same old schtick. So excuse me if I give your nonsense the response it is deserving of.

 

Now I am annoyed I have wasted my time responding to a troll when I could be playing the finest console racing game so far released.
