I was chatting to my cousin earlier who works in the tech industry and he is utterly convinced this thing does exist, at least in some form. 
 

His reasoning- the current switch looks naff on big modern TVs.  
 

I’m still sure that it DOESNT exist but it was interesting to hear another point of view.

No he works in the tech industry and he thinks there might be a new switch in development so that's the first person in tech to ever have that thought and so it might be true now.
