It wasn’t before my boys had theirs. It’s dead now though, that’s why I’m so interested in a new one. Like I said, my boys have their own, so a TV only one would be absolutely perfect for me. Not that it’s going to happen.

Oh, it’s a lovely looking thing. It’s just the build quality I’ve had plenty of issues with.

The standard joycons are shit to hold in portable mode comfort wise so hope they improve the ergonomics. Guessing they're fine if you have Trump hands

I love the JoyCon though I do have small hands. It was real convenience for split screen Mario Kart on lunch since you have that extra controller by default.

PT would normally be Pacific Time in the US.  3PM PT would be 23:00 in the UK
