I will post a picture probably tomorrow if I remember. The plastic top part snapped off but the pins are still on the board.

If there is nothing on the otherside of the board that could melt, and if you can get a replacement Zif connector, then you "should" be able to heat up the underside with hot air, remove the old one and replace it.

I've only done this a couple of times on 3DS's, it's something I've only recently become aware of, but I can say that it does work, you just need the tools and that replacement connector of course.

** EDIT ** just found the board at https://www.hardkernel.com/shop/board-for-odroid-go-advance/ for $32, guess there will be tax and shipping on top of that, but could be cheaper than £50.

The pictures on there make it look like you "could" replace the connector, if you can find one to do so.

My RG350M turned up this morning and my god I’m impressed for the price. I paid £100 with a 64gb card Full of Emus and Roms. It’s not struggled with anything up to and including PS1, running things like FF7 like a dream,

And the thing I’m most impressed with is the build quality, it’s heavy, it feels great in the hand, the buttons are responsive, sticks are great, screen is incredible,

I’m astounded by the overall quality. You could genuinely throw a Nintendo logo on it, charge me and extra £100 and I’d have still been impressed.

if anyone’s on the fence I strongly recommend the RG350M.

If anyone has any questions or wants me to test anything let me know!

I've got the second one. Beware, they are the same size as the Neo Geo mini. That first link is hilarious. Makes it look like a barcade.

Yeah I was looking for something quite dinky. The Photoshop work on the JXD one is outstanding.

This is a good watch!

Thanks!

I did remember I own a GPD, which is lovely but runs stock android and boy does it show, it's got satan's UI.  The DS style clamshell isn't the most comfortable either.

So I caved in and ordered a RG350M. Backordered but hey ho.

Does anyone know if the cases on ebay for the RG350 will fit OK on a 350M? Are the machines the same size?

Also, I can't find screen protectors.

you won’t be disappointed! Have you got a link to the cases you’ve found please?

Ive put about 8 hours into Final Fantasy 6 today that I’d never played before and spent all last night playing the GBA Mario Tennis! Such a lovely bit of kit

Wow, I'm quite surprised to see that the RG350M uses the same chip as the old GCW zero that I had years ago. I don't recall that being very good tbh. I assume things have moved on a little software wise. This really runs everything up to ps1 perfectly with no frameskip?

I had no problems playing anything I’ve tried and I’ve watched 100 review Vids before buying where others had no problems either :)

I've just bought the same thing but hopefully from a UK seller.

Can't find screen protectors though. Does the machine come with one fitted in the box?

Just managed to get a Pi Zero and a Gpi case from droidbox which was reduced to 44 quid so whole set up for 51 quid which is a bit of a bargain anyone who fancied one.

Downloaded a fully loaded image from Arcade Punks and i'm ready to go when they turn up.

I've a had JXDs, GPDs, RS+97s, Xperia Plays etc etc but nothing scratched the itch but the GPi has the form factor I want, same UI as my Pi3b set up and my mini arcade and is plenty fast enough for what I want to emulate.
