I umm and arred over the bundle but I'm in it for Resi 8 to begin with and if Horizon proves to be the real killer app, I'll bite. I've still not played Saints and Sinners, so that's definitely on the radar and the kayaking thing looks like it might be up my alley as well.

I went for the Horizon pack, picked up disc copies of RE Village, GT7 and No mans sky quite cheap. Wanderer is on sale on the store for £17 but still no confirmation it will be a free upgrade or even if a PSVR2 version is coming at all.

The Horizon VR game is digital only right??

Appears so, can’t find it for sale anywhere. Maybe a physical edition will arrive later on. Sony certainly aren’t giving customers much choice with PSVR2.

Horizon looks to be the only absolutely essential launch day game to me. I cancelled my VR unit only pre-order and upgraded to the bundle to save a bit of money a couple of weeks ago. They appear to have loads more of these than they can get rid of at the minute, so I'm not sure how that puts me at any more risk of something going wrong and not getting one at launch. Particularly as they're still selling them.

As good as it looks, I'm holding off on Resident Evil Village for now until I get a reliable vom rating. I'm okay with a bit of movement, but it looks and sounds like it's pushing the motion sickness comfort boundaries at times.

Tentacular has good reviews. Physics puzzler. Anyone played that?

I’ve still got one on order. I’m going to see how my finances are when I get back from holiday in another week and cancel if I can’t afford it. (Or sell it if I can’t cancel it.)

I’m still a bit worried about simulation sickness. Some games were fine on VR1 (Polybius, Wipeout, Astrobot, that gangster game, the zombie shooting one). Others made me puke (Resident Evil 7, Gran Turismo Sport). But Astrobot was honestly one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. More of that and I’ll be happy.

I decided that £569 wasn’t enough to spend from my horizon pack preorder back in November , so I ordered the charger for the controllers last night for another £40

It’s been a while since I’ve played VR. Initially some games made me quite ill (Rigs, Robinson, RE7) but then I got used to it and had no issues, going full on in Wipeout.

I decided I hadn't spent enough on a PS5 and PSVR2 so bought an extra 2TB SSD, official dualsense chargers and GT7.

Don't tell me there are chargers for the VR controllers as well!

Thanks :P

With this, upgrading the TV to 4K and the ever-inviting prospect of a wheel and sim rig.. my days of being in a somewhat healthy relationship are numbered!

False wall though to your games room, keep it hidden

I cancelled my preorder.....and did a new one but with Horizon. Also got a preorder for the controller chargers since that will be super handy.

I think this is supposed to be getting a PSVR2 release and looks loads of fun

Also yesterday I discovered that the PSVR launch title Here They Lie at some point got patched to not need VR. It's not the same as playing it in a headset but at least I can do another runthrough of it and get the last two trophies I need.

It looks amazing but I’m reminded of the motion sickness I got with Driveclub VR.

I’m quite lucky as don’t suffer with motion sickness. I know this as I completed trackmania in VR. That was a stomach churning experience at times, but bloody awesome.

I think I'll be picking this up as a nice counter to Village. It's currently listed as 22/2/23 on the PS store but I think the devs are meant to be releasing more info this week regarding price, etc.
