I can’t believe it’s been two years since the last Andy Stott album, where does the time go? Also Modern Love is one of my favourite record labels, they never put anything but sheer excellence out.

Tried that Dry Cleaning album "New Long Leg" - couldn't make it further than track 3 once I'd realised that was about all it was going to do.

Sounded like this to me but 10 tracks long

Oh yeah.

And

Just finished watching this myself and they are on fire. Looking forward to the album.

Looking forward to this now, seems the singer has toned it down a bit from the OTT phrasing off the first album. Still their weakest link in the group, but the horn section and sax makes all the difference here.

He still gets crazy with it during that live performance, but yes on John L he sounds quite different, I enjoy his singing though he’s like Chet Baker, Jeff Buckley and Björk, sometimes all at the same time.

Have a listen to Despair which is the b-side to the last single, John L, his singing is quite lovely :)

There's alot of background to this, the person in question is someone who's music I've enjoyed for a long, the guy in question isn't huge in the music industry but he is well-known and his actions don't exactly tally with the message he tries to preach within his music.
