Never played the game, but remember playing a demo of it on one of the Official PS magazines.

I propose this beauty: Soukyugurentai, which I’ve recently come to know and keep repeating to myself. It’s a well rated Japanese shooter that unfortunately goes by ‘Terra Driver’ in the west.

 

What a terrific utterance, try saying it fully. At once I am transported to the motherland. The contours of my facade are transposed by Hironobu Sakaguchi's, perhaps even those of Hiroyuki Sanada, my facial gestalt precariously shimmering like a deepfake as I solemnly declare those wonderful syllables, Soukyugurentai.

Yeah really good call on these. They're really cinematic and mysterious names. Can we have remakes of all of these please actually? Even back then, Fractalus was more of a game than No Man's Sky will ever be. All that tech, wasted.
