By the time he closes the gap, he won't have enough tyres left to overtake unless Max's tyres are completely dead.

Of course, they've basically guaranteed the fastest lap point for Lewis, and given him a shout, they had to try something.

I'll give you that. He stepped up and had a good race. But I think he makes more mistakes than Bottas does.
