I once read a very poor review of the Ian Curtis biopic, Control, which said it was a good film but had a certain degree of inevitability. 

This race being red-flagged was even more inevitable.

one year I priced up a Sunday-only Canadian GP cheaper, INCLUDING flights.

 

anyway I think only Hungary and Barcelona are cheaper.

I really hope they don’t do the podium celebration - kinda need to read the room. That said, it’s FOM so no doubt the podium and champagne goes ahead.

That was a long race. A better result than if Hamilton had finished second to Max in the race points wise and Max has saved an engine distance. It's still on for Hamilton to win race 100 at Zandvoort.

There was a CART race - Australia 2002 I believe - that was as much of a farce as this one was. I think they tried to start it, had an enormous crash, then ran the safety car so long all but the slowest driver had to put for fuel and promptly red-flagged the race so he won.
