Did I miss anything with the scene of him checking his weapons in on the flight? It seemed oddly specific that he needed to relinquish them but then nothing bad appeared to happen?

I actually thought he was going to get to Tatooine and the Darksaber would be missing

Well, that was amazing. Everything’s already been said, but:

Spoiler

- Mando >>>>> Boba.

- Bryce again showing her fantastic directing chops.

- Squeed when I saw the BD droid.

- Looking fwd to seeing Baby Grogu (not Groku!) in Beskar chain mail, riding in the droid pod.

- Trash compactor knobbly-rod!

- Beggar’s Canyon.

- Also, in one shot, the flaps pulled out from the little hanky bag wrapping Grogu’s mithril shirt gave the bag the same shape as Grogu’s head. Gorgeous little detail.

Star Wars memberberries are still the sweetest.

Bad news everybody, Robert Rodriguez is directing the finale (Dave Filoni is doing the penultimate episode next week) so we can expect an episode that looks like a fan film shot on an iPhone again.

At least that means we might be getting more Danny Trejo. Maybe this time he'll actually do some stuff!

hurt themselves with a lightsaber? I've always thought that I'd accidentally burn myself on one or lop something off if I was swinging one around without training.

It shows why Jedis are Jedis. I felt that was a clever part.

I do remember a section in one of the EU books, where a Jedi is cut off from the force and trying to use their light sabre but find it far heavier and more unwieldy than they remember.

While his new ship is cool looking and it’s obvious the Homer Simpson car bubble is for Baby Yoda, it’s a spectacularly bad choice for a bloke whose job is being a bounty hunter,

How the hell will he deliver his bounty? Presumably he outsources it to some sort of deliveroo or galactic equivalent. Deliver-ear windu

Using a nimble little fighter really doesn't make any sense for him, or anyone travelling through space for a sustained period of time. Nowhere for his bounty, nor for him to eat or sleep. Presumably he doesn't need to go to the toilet, either. I hope beskar doesn't rust.

Just caught up with this weeks - that was an amazing episode of The Mandalorian, now when are we getting the actual fifth episode of TBoBF? 🤔

For me that highlighted everything that's been wrong with TBoBF from the first episode - pacing, production values, narrative... really feels bad that it needs to lean on the Mando crutch so hard, when Boba should have been enough to sustain his own series (and then some).
