I was at Costco this morning and a guy outside was sat with a PS5 box - I assume he got it there, so if you have a Costco card and it's not too far from you, it might be worth a trip if you want one.

Are these things still a twat to get hold of?

I’ve lost a bit of interest now. I think most people on here who really wanted one has got one though.

I just can’t muster enough enthusiasm to hover over several webpage tabs and Twitter feeds to get one. Fair play to those that can be arsed. For me, it’s a bit like being hungry for ages until you just get past it a bit and have beans on toast or something instead.

Edit: and you realise those switch games beans on toast were fucking lovely in the end.

Yep, I used a code very kindly donated by another forumite. When they called I just validated the code and then confirmed my delivery address for the goods.

Seems different this round as you have to go in and then collect when they have the stock - still can’t see that someone else couldn’t use the code tho!

Well I have one available. I’ve just spent about £800 on coffee equipment and I don’t have time for a PS5 at the moment.  Send me a PM if anyone needs it.

Does your coffee equipment use proprietary simple plug and play capsules that a dummy could use or does it require a specific open standard of coffee which you have to install yourself but only if you have an engineering degree? I think that is the most important question on the forum right now.

🤣

I am happy to say it utilises an open standard spec of coffee which is great for choice and price. However, there is likely a steeper entry into enjoying it requiring a comparatively advanced technological know-how. I can’t help thinking that this may be an allegory for something. 😉

are you able to control it using Bluetooth, or does it require a proprietary protocol?
