To my amazement my ShopTo order from earlier has gone to the warehouse so it looks like I am actually getting it! I really don't understand how, I was 15 minutes late for the drop and the queue was over 20k long. But suddenly I'm able to buy it. Maybe the queue crashed and went back up again or something? Either way, not complaining, looks like I may have gotten extremely lucky.

Yeah that's awful. There is some scum out there. That poor person's trauma will be for nothing as that PS5 will likely end up on a selling site for a stupidly high price that nobody will buy it for anyway.

Thought I’d join the queue just to see how I get on. Queue position 4,000 odd down to 240 in about 20 minutes. Then the page refreshed and I thought ooh I might be in with a shot here. Nah it refreshed and I was suddenly in queue position 28,000

Thought I’d have a look and was 1785 in the queue, got down to 284, the screen refreshed and dumped me back in the queue at 28,818. Nice.

As above posts.

Filtering out the people not buying an expensive enough bundle.

Nice one SeanR :)

Still no Currys call for me yet.

Just had an email, telling me that I’ll defo get  one, but delays from Sony have set their timescales back.

They have 1000 consoles, according to the email. That doesn’t sound a lot.

Thanks. My wife tweeted them and they replied “...due to the volume of calls it’s taking longer than expected. The team aims to complete the calls by the end of May. Please bear with us until then.”
