After giving a different than normal turn in Uncut Gems, Adam Sandler seems to be trying it again in this novel adaptation. It'll be directed by Johan Renck for Chernobyl too.

He's good in Punch Drunk Love.  Didn't like him in Uncut Gems.  I'm 1/2 for film I've seen him in!
