Millie and Molly - my new game

Recommended Posts

Best of luck with it dude, I've only done the first couple of levels and I like it a lot already. Everything feels and looks just right (and that title screen/level select music is particularly wonderful!)

If you felt your ears burning earlier today it's because I was stuck on level 47 and howled out your name as a curse!

Haha. When I originally played through Chun's levels (he never let me play them until he'd done all 100) I graded them. 47 was the first one I marked as very hard. Oddly 45 seems to be the one most people get stuck on. It seems you didn't struggle there.

Just checked. Rest assured I am also in the "abused by level 45" support group!

My daughter wrote me a proper press release which has seen some traction this week:

5 best mobile games this week:

https://www.pocketgamer.com/articles/084346/games-of-the-week-the-5-best-new-mobile-games-for-ios-and-android-october-9th-2020/page/5/

And a nice mini-review here:

I was also Tweeted at the weekend that it was number 3 in iOS paid apps on I think the Danish app store (somewhere with KR as their currency). Turns out this translates to about 2 sales.

Bought. How could I not?

Thank you.

I managed to get the game featured on Pocket Gamer where they get readers of the site to play a game over the weekend and give their opinions. It's broadly positive but I forgot how bad people slamming your work can feel.

I’m OK at coding. I needed a designer, musician, artist and QA to end up with a good game. Now I’m trying to get more people interested In the game my daughter who is a copywriter has done loads of stuff for me of her own volition. Including a real press release. This has already reaped benefits with a great bit of publicity on a major website. Basically this post is to say how proud I am of my daughter..

Ok at coding lol. Understatement there. Looks cool, definitely my type of game, I'll pick it up :)

Finished all 100 levels a few days ago, I loved it!

I was about 25 levels in when I persuaded my wife to buy it too. She doesn't play many games, but was totally hooked and finished it before I did!

That’s pretty impressive. It’s the first game my wife ever completed as well. Thanks for your support.
