I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say that the live game started at 10 and has only just finished. New appreciation for their editor!

They said they will probably do more live shows in the future. Definitely worth the £8!

How does it being live work? Is the audience on mute?

They were on a Zoom call, but it was broadcast on YouTube. I was tempted to paste the link in this thread but I got the fear about it being a personalised URL and getting kicked out of the stream, sorry :(

They made quite a few jokes during it about "limiting tickets for no reason" - apparently one of the Leicester Comedy Festival producers said that the only reason they did it was that they were worried it wouldn't work live. You could see they were a bit nervous about challenges to begin with, they clearly didn't want anyone going out too early. I suppose the worry was people would pay to see a show and accidentally get a 20-minute game. It took them an hour before anyone actually challenged

It worked well, it was very meandering but their patter is just naturally funny so it was really entertaining. And Watto was shitfaced by the end, which is always nice to see.

Absolutely astonishing scenes in this week's game. Uncomfortable, but gripping, viewing.

Was absolutely livid watching this. I was close to joining the below the line lot.

He said on Twitter it was the most pissed he'd been in 2020. Who knew he was such a belligerent drunk!

Was just coming in here to excitedly let everyone know who missed out last time, having just seen the new live show announcement at the end of this week's episode. Good job there's no limit this time or I would have been stuffed. Looking forward to being a cesspit gem all over again.

Genuinely loved the live show. It’s a very different beast though. Long, gruelling. You certainly get your money’s worth. Horne getting absolutely shitfaced and going outside for ten minutes was a highlight.

I loved Horne's trajectory. It was like he went a bit too hard at a festival, got a bit confused and scared and apologetic, had a sit down for a while, and then got his second wind and headed off to the jungle tent.

I can thoroughly recommend Key's book of poems about lockdown, it's terrific stuff. He also does weekly streams where he potters about his flat, reads a few poems from the book, and talks to his mates on Zoom.

They've released the edited version of the first live show, in case anyone here missed it due to the (completely arbitrary!) ticket limit

It was so good to have this back yesterday. The live shows and their edits have been enjoyable, but the league games are my bread and butter. Key absolutely smashed it. Particularly enjoyed the dads song at the start and the entire Alexa debacle had me in stitches.

Praying Horne doesn't win this set or it could be the last one.

The discussion of whether it was possible to "meet" a horse absolutely killed me. Especially Key claiming that horses don't have names, only a few minutes after naming, as his turn, a horse.

Of course you can meet a horse. The question is can a horse meet you.

Hell of a game on today's episode. Hell of a game.

Spoiler

This is a different Key, a focused Key. He even excluded Penelope Pitstop with his very first category! The boy's looking unstoppable!

Spoiler

Key has let these wins go to his head. That was a set one performance from the boy. More concerned with creating whacky categories and looking awesome than remembering the existing ones.

Needs a good pep talk from below the line before the next game. Don't let this slip.
