To be clear, it looks like some of these are only being removed from the 360 marketplace specifically and will still be available on XB1/Series consoles. The likes of Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon etc will most likely remain available on the newer stores.

This seems to be the list of the games being removed from the 360 store that aren't available on the newer shopfronts:

Quote

* indicates there's NO version or iteration of this game on XB1. So once it's gone, it's gone unless there's a physical version

Assassin's Creed Brohood (No longer available for purchase on the new store)
Assassin's Creed III (No longer available for purchase on the new store)
Assassin's Creed IV (No longer available for purchase on the new store)

Blood of the Werewolf*
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Sadly I'm not allowed to buy these because I live in the Netherlands. Is there a way around this?

Those are links to the UK marketplace. If you do a web search for "daytona usa xbox marketplace" as an example, then you should be given your region's link hopefully.

If I search on the Dutch store it had them but says not available to buy. The links above redirect me to the US store. I guess it's a rights thing.

Hmmm....

Microsoft announced a couple of days ago that they're increasing the price of both consoles in Japan by 5000 yen in the middle of February.

I'd been slowly mulling over getting a series s but wasnt in a hurry and I guess this is forcing me to choose, because I certainly won't buy one after the increase.

I currently have game pass and a gaming PC, but no xbox.

The yen is bad compared to the dollar (but nowhere near as bad as it was a few months ago).

Realistically I think it’s basically them throwing in the towel on ever selling any here.

I’ve never even seen a series x on sale here, and the ps5 is pretty easy to find recently.

I’d never recommend a series s over a digital ps5, especially if the price difference is only around 10000 yen.

Myself and a few other westerners living in Japan will be annoyed by the price increase I guess.

Anyone who thinks that they've bought any of the games being delisted should double-check that they've actually downloaded them.

I bought the OG/360 Splinter Cell games in a sale a while back, and they didn't automatically download or show up in my Ready to Install list. I actually had to navigate to the store pages to download them. If the store pages disappear then this might be a problem going forward.

I wouldn’t get an S, stump for an X or don’t bother if you have a PC

Nah you could carry an S around on your face! So tiny and useful.

underpowered, you’re never going to play it if you’re used to playing PC games with higher resolutions etc, would just be a waste of money

No doubt, but you can do all of that on the Series X instead, if you really want an Xbox that’s the way to go, the S is terrible, if you don’t want a Series X you don’t really want an Xbox.

 I must have just imagined all the fun I've had with mine over the last couple of years then.

The S is rad as hell, I bought one as a secondary to set up shop in a bud's house.

However, Sekiro runs at 30fps on it as opposed to the X's 60fps and it was like someone was being sick directly into my eyeballs after playing it through again on X. You can't go back - but this is the only game I've seen do something like that, though I'm not sure why. It could easily handle Sekiro at 60.

I'm assuming this is because the Series X can run the Xbox One X version? I don't think there is a dedicated series S/X version which is a shame.

So far wide of the mark.

The S is a joy. I own both and don't give a crap which I'm using. Both perform the job perfectly.
