It does read like it's a Bluetooth thing https://www.vg247.com/xbox-controller-double-tap-feature. Older, non-Series pads will be able to do it soon, but it has to be the BT ones (e.g., the One S and One X pads).

 

Unfortunate that MS fluffed the pad stuff at the beginning of last gen a bit. I wonder if the reduced latency thing will make all of the BT-based pads better for xCloud, too. I hadn't thought of that before.

It's a game you need teamwork and communication apparently. Quite hardcore.

My experience also. No tutorial as far as I could see either and horrible menus. Uninstalled.

Sad as it is, I honestly think the best thing about the new consoles is the ability to download something nd it just does the thing in silence. As much as I love my PC, my slow internet means I usually download stuff at night, and by christ its a noisy fucker. In comparison, there’s no such issues with the Series X.

Microsoft are adding a bunch of labels (still in testing) to help emphasize good accessibility features (e.g., a subtitle label for the ability to customize size, etc.).

 

Apart from being excellent, I hope this makes some devs do better with tiny text and other issues.

yeah, it made "your machine" the end IP for what ever other people were doing, so any illicit stuff others were doing could be linked to your IP!

I'm sure that there must be a whole load of criteria that has to be met to get games passed by MS (achievements being one that springs to mind). Why they don't add sensible txt sizes being one of them is beyond me. Fingers crossed that the labels that you mention do just that as there are far too many games that come out with poor accessibility, The Ascent being the latest one that I came across.

theyve got a whole video focused on accessibility ...side note, i have not watched it

Some games still don't even have subtitles. I Am Fish lacks them, and while you might think that's a game that doesn't have dialogue, there's a fair amount of stuff that plays out in the background through radio, loudspeakers and NPC speech.

 

Pretty shameful to release a game in 2021 without subtitling that stuff, and I don't think it should be approved for day one Game Pass in that state. MS are the best of the big three when it comes to accessibility but they still have a long way to go.

I had this last time. The only way I solved it was for someone in the physical country of the code to log on to my Xbox and redeem it!

Urban VPN solved it, I read a few posts saying TunnelBear isn’t working as well these days!
