Oh really, that's good to know that's a possibility. I was looking at something from a German music store last week but wasn't sure what would happen when it arrived.  Thanks for the info.  Also, congratulations on your purchase! I turned my Series X on earlier and am still so happy to have a practically silent system. Literally can't audibly tell it's on when I sit in my chair.

Looking forward to trying the slew of xbox games I haven't played because I was mostly a PS4 fanboy last gen. Things like Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Untitled Goost Game and Hellblade etc. (I realise most aren't exclusive, but you know what I mean).

I’d still go for the CX though. I’m on a C9 and they really are fantastic! You could always run your S/X straight to the new set and then to your current amp via optical or ARC / eARC. 

 

That new telly has just come £600 closer eh .

In other news finally picked up a Xbox Series S for my son. Wow lovely little console. Really impressed with it. Great design so compact and quiet. It's replacing his OG Xbox think he'll be impressed. Probably end up as a Fortnite player though He has GamePass Ultimate too so should keep him busy.....

Plenty on there I'm interested in. Guessing some will make their way to PC too which is great. The Geigeresque looking horror Scorn looks really interesting.

No it was originally crowd funded so will appear on the original target platforms. One of which is the PS4 so lucky PS5 owners can get to play it via BC. I expect it will have the appropriate tweaks for MSs new consoles though.

Hey, I'm a pretty big advocate of Xbox and Gamepass, but calling the Yakuza games and Psychonauts 2 exclusives is stretching it. There's a lot of good stuff on that list so they don't need to pad it out with things like that.

My comment was general.... So just teasing. Seems to come up a lot though. Who cares if they come out on PC etc... Never overly impressed with exclusives half of time anyway. Although it is frustrating when I can't play the odd one because of the platform it's on. However I'll learn to live with that because not buying multiple consoles anymore. Don't have the time or money and the GamePass model is working really well for me.

To be fair reading the article they admit both the Yakuza games and Psychonauts are not exclusives but they are excited to announce them as Gamepass day one.

Yes but they’re coming to Game Pass, which is pretty exciting news. Quite hyped for Psychonauts 2, actually.

Absolutely this. Having some great gaming on GamePass lately. Worth every penny. Even more so because of the conversion from Gold I did. I'd pay the full asking price for it though it's a great way of playing suits the way I game fine these days.

Like  an absolute wazzock, I’ve got them all on PS4, of course, but I do love me some 60fps with no load times on the side. Maybe, once they’re gone, I’ll have a PS5 and they’ll all play with the same enhancements, and I’ll be happy.

I had played most of Yakuza 0 a few years back on the PS4 and am now playing it again and remembering how great it is. Just had the big fight/encounter with one of the Dojima bosses at that tiny little bar (Sienna?), absolutely brilliant stuff. Can't wait to play the rest of them.

 

I don't know why I stopped playing 0 before, my mind must be blanking something!

If they were going to switch them out before music licencing or whatever makes them I imagine they'd have done what they've been doing with the Jackbox packs and swap them as a new one comes on.

This was the case for me too. 

 

Ordered a console from Amazon

 UK, got it delivered to Japan.

 

The difference in sales tax here (10% added on) made the console about £205. 

 

However they added the customs tax and stuff on, as well as international post, so it ended up being about £270. 

 

They actually emailed me a few days after delivery saying the customs tax was less than stated, so I got about a fiver back I think. 

 

It was all completely hassle free and the delivery was remarkable quic for such a distance (and given how the launch deliveries in general were slow or botched). Think the console came out Tuesday November 10th, most were sent out on Monday 9th and mine arrived Friday 13th which definitely wasn't unlucky for me as there were no Yodel drivers around to swipe it.

They actually patched out some music due to licensing. The music that plays in Don Quijote is licensed and their deal with that chain must have expired as they took that music out of all the old games (even the older releases on ps4) and the shop itself has been replaced with a police station in Like a Dragon.
