I had that as well and wondered if there was any way to add it to my current £1 for 3 years deal. I did it a few months ago, so it’d be ideal. I can’t figure out how you’d do it though.

Buy the digital voucher on Amazon via the product link in the mail from Amazon + redeem Game Pass code in your Microsoft account.

I still have a code I bought from the first time amazon sent me a code I was going to top up my subscription, when I go to redeem the code the page saying

"

Upgrading your membership

Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass or EA Play membership(s) into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the current conversion ratio, up to 36 months (any time over 36 months will be lost). Note that all conversions are final, and the conversion ratio is subject to change."

Does this happen even if you have used the conversion previously or has the first time I converted 3 years live to gamepass ultimate possibly gone under the radar so I can do it again in the future? I kept the code and didn't redeem it just in case

Out of interest, does anyone know how well F1 2019 is mean to run on Series S? I installed it last night and the frame rate really wasn't fantastic, and quite inconsistent. However, I've watched a couple of YT videos and it looks buttery smooth and I guess 60fps. Anything I should know?

CD Keys currently doing a year of gold for £38, which is handy as my GPU expires tomorrow.

This plus a Series S is >£150 cheaper than All Access, as a side note.

Ta!

Friend got a click and collect of the console itself, with the £1 GP ultimate 3 months deal as well, makes it much more appealing!

Seasons greetings all :).

So, I grabbed a Series X a little while ago but kept it packed up to one side whilst my front room was getting a new ceiling fitted.

In the meantime I got my gaming fix by setting my One X and it's 6TB external in my home office (used HDMI switch to link it to one of my desktops monitors and dug an old amp out of the loft) and tbh the setup did a grand job of keeping me gaming loop not to mention was very handy for quick lunchtime play there and there too.

So tonight or tomorrow I plan to set up the series X in the front room but I'm thinking of hanging onto the series X (I was going to sell it) as at it seems the setup really suits quick blasts compared to getting settled for a few hrs in the front room. I've also gone and got a new external (12tb this time, got one cheap in the Black Friday sales) for the Series X and whilst I'm pretty sure I can indeed have both machines set up at the same time and just sign into whichever one I'm wanting to play on, is there any way of transferring all of my One X's internal / external content to the series X's internal / external whilst also leaving all the games on the One X / it's external drive so that I can easily access the entire library on whichever machine I decide to play on?

If it can't be done then I'll likely flog the One X so if anyone's got any ideas as to how to break it to this great lump that I'm selling his favorite spot, then I'm all ears...

You could just plug both hard drives into the old one and pick ‘copy’ rather than ‘move’ in the storage bit of settings and then put the other drive on the series x. Do the same with the internal games too.

There might be a network copy option too now?

Ah splendid!! A very simple solution that I didn't realise was there!! I'll set it up and leave it running overnight so that I'm good to go in the morning and as an added bonus imagine the extra heat it'll generate for my feline friend :)!!

Got a series S for chrimbo, cannot believe how small it is. This is what you call a games console and reminds me of how consoles used to be size wise. Really is a top notch well thought out piece of hardware Microsoft have released here. The speed of it amazes me to and is on another level to previous gen. Getting around the store and menus are lightning quick along with the resume. Microsoft have exceeded themselves with Series S and storage wise is perfect for me as I don't have that much on the go at once.

Anyone know if you can move around menus with your TV remote like PS4 if you just want to watch Netflix for example?

I haven't set it up, so can't say how well it works, but the Series X|S supports HDMI CEC. You can set it up with a Logitech Harmony as well if you have one of those.

Got my lads a Series S each for Christmas and I can’t believe how small it is either! It looks minuscule next to my X and from what they’ve played on them, it looks to be a nice step up for their Ones. They’re very impressed.

I’m on board with a Series X which my wife very generously got me for Christmas. I’ve basically skipped a generation having had a 360, but since then the only console I’ve had is a Switch, which I absolutely love and expect to continue playing.

I’ve taken advantage of the 3 year Game Pass Ultimate hack by upgrading three years of Gold Live for a £1. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea where to start. Missed so many games over the past years. A bit overwhelming looking at the whole list of Game Pass games. I plan to try and rinse those before actually buying anything not on Game Pass if I can.

Also I have precisely zero friends on my friends list, so feel free to add me. Gamertag is in my signature!

I’m screaming internally at the thought of preordering a ~£45 game when it’s launching on Game Pass.

Guessing some people don't like subscribing to a service.... Still £45 is around four months of GamePass I guess.... Or a year if you do the Gold conversion trick.
