Tetris Effect: Connected.

It will also be on Game Pass.

Have it on PSVR!

Either way, I'm not convinced Tetris -e even mega trance version - is going to be the best game to show off my shiny new console.

This came up on YouTube,  Series X games of 2020. No idea how good their info is (and they refer to 'the xbox live" at one point) but if accurate these should all be out within a month or so of launch. There are a few titles here I wasn't aware of, but nothing I didn't know about got me excited. You may or may not feel the same.

They included some things which are Xbox One games that are getting higher framerates (Ori, Forza Horizon 4), but not all of them - I know Gears 5 is going to 120hz, which is something I'm quite interested in.

I can't wait. Just think of it like buying a new graphics card on your pc and playing all the old games you love but it will look better and load faster. That alone is worth 450.

Day one im going to have.

Ass creed valhalla

Forza 7

Forza horizon 4

All the lego games

Sea of thieves

Destiny 2

Stardew valley

Rare replay

World of final fantasy

Witch 3 and dlc

Call of duty modern warfare

And all the gamepass games

That's a right line up

I like me an AC game, but Valhalla looks really dull to me. Don't think AC has had a setting as boring since AC3.

Tetris Effect on an OLED will be wonderful, though.

Valhalla looks like a huge step-back from Odyssey unfortunately.

Everything about it suggests angry teenager screaming 'take me seriously' as you clobber people.

Yakuza LaD is a must play for me.

Don't call it that. Males it sound like a Yakuza game where you can buy a copy of Nuts from Don Quixote then go for a pint of Carling in the newly opened Kamurocho branch of Yates to engage in top bants with Majima who now wears a tracksuit.

That actually sounds great

Because I know you have all been on the edge of your seats since my initial post on Tuesday, here is my update on Microsoft needlessly cancelling my Series X pre-order. There has been 4+ hours of multiple phone calls, I have been passed up and down the hierarchy. Ultimately there is nothing that Microsoft are prepared to do to help. We even set up a three way conversation between myself, PayPal and Microsoft to try and ascertain where the fault lay, only for the Microsoft representative to conveniently drop out when discussions were underway. The most frustrating thing on earth must be to phone a customer support line and have to tell yet another operator your entire story. Each time I politely inform them I have a reference number and that I was speaking to the manager named.....so can I please be put through to them. But they never can transfer me. Instead I am asked to spend umpteen minutes on hold while they read the history once more.

So all that is left for me to do is to fill in a form online to register a complaint. Not sure what outcome I should be expecting from doing that. This has been the shoddiest customer support service I have ever experienced, and the worst part is there has been very little sympathy along the way. Just a repeated "computer says no" and "there is nothing I can do" from all levels. I hope all you lucky people with existing pre-orders don't have to go through anything like this with yours.

@reef I’d honestly try to not let it get you down. I missed out on preordering one, but I’m confident some more stock will appear somewhere, so I’ll just keep checking retailers every day. Failing that, I’ll be off into town on launch morning to see if I can grab one from a shop. There’s even kind members like @carlospie offering one of their spares, which is always an option.

Now I want this.

Where do you live? I may have a spare.

Thanks @carlospie I live in sunny Liverpool but would be happy to pay for courier if you do have one. @Jei said he might be able to hook me up with a pre-order he had so I have already contacted him. Thanks @JPL I know and you are right. I'm a bit of an Xbox fan boy and have been very excited about this new console release but I do know it's not the end of the world. To be honest, I am more upset with Microsoft and the way they have dealt with the situation rather than the actual cancellation. I would have accepted it if they had said, sorry, system fucked up and there's nothing we can do about it. It was their continued insistence that the fault was with me that really wrankles.

What's crazy is there will be people cancelling preorders no doubt. The least they could do is take accountability and try and allocate you one of the cancelled preorders.

@reef @JPL I’ve an all access on order plus one direct from MS. Assuming game don’t royally fuck up the all access one I’ll be happy to forward on my MS one. I’m in NI though so there’d be shipping involved.

Thanks for the offer. I’m over in Manchester, so I’m guessing it’d be prohibitively expensive to ship it.

Not generally, no.

Ah cool. I’ll let @reef have first dibs, as he deserves it after the mess around he’s been through, but if it’s still available nearer the time and I’m still struggling, I’ll definitely take it. Nice one!
