Price, lacking choices, stubborn refusal to add players from certain teams.  He’s often on the bench. My midfield also has Son and Mane (yay) so they usually make up for it. I’ve had to use transfers to account for other injuries and stuff in recent weeks, think I’ll be binning him off next.

Help, I’m a n00b, what am I meant to be doing with GW 18 and 19? I have all my chips eg Free Hit and Bench Boost but I’m not too sure what to do?

 

If I use Free Hit to fill my squad for week 18 with people who are actually playing, does it return to what it currently is for week 19 (which I wouldn’t be super unhappy with)?

 

Note I am not in serious contention for rllmuk league so helping me won’t screw anyone over :lol: however I have an opportunity to take advantage of my worn league #1 not paying attention....

A lot of people "in the know" are free hitting GW18 and then either using the bench boost or triple captain in GW19.

 

The latter decision is partly down to how your bench is looking and whether rolling the dice on a triple captain might net you more.

 

I'm probably going to free hit but waiting a little longer before pushing the button in case anything changes because of covid!

Most of my squad wasn't playing this gameweek, so I ended up making 32 points-worth of changes and was about to use the Free Hit until it turned out I already used it.  Bastard!  So I've reverted, cos I need the players for gameweek 19 so can't use the Wildcard.

 

Forget this gameweek.

I managed 45 points without using any free hit (with careful planning) - am using free hit for this gameweek and have 11 players with double game weeks.. hope they all play both games..

Nice. The GW went about as well as it could have for non-Free Hitters thanks to blanks from members of the template FH team - Laca and Wilson, especially. 

 

I'm going to bench boost this week, I think, but am trying to decide what to do with a couple of players who have single gameweeks but who could still do well.

Played my triple captain on de Bruyne.  Hoping for big things in second game.  Currently on 68 points .  Right behind you :)
