Poch is just having a rest until he is ready to come back as our manager, a nice holiday in France is merely part of his recuperation...

even Poch will be able to pad his record out as a manager with a trophy in France, it was the logical place for him to go to get that monkey off his back, well there or Scotland.

Since Zidane seems to be getting things back in order at Real Madrid, PSG is probably the best he can hope for in the immediate future. Win some domestic trophies, have a decent chance to do well in Europe, play around with oodles of morally-terrible money. Seems ideal for a year or two at least, I’m sure.

Bruno Fernandes is a right dirty twat isn’t he? That’s five bookings he could have picked up now if the ref had some balls.

He's a great player but screams when anyone touches him. There was one point about 75 minutes in when he went down screaming then when the ball rolled back to him immediately got up and played on. Rashford then copies his behaviour when he rolled off the pitch after Harvey Barnes grabbed his arm.

It's equally as pathetic when our rabble do it too.

Rashford has had an injured shoulder all season.

Literally the last post I made about Vardy in this thread was calling him a dirty scrote, so yeah.

@Stopharage I think the point @Gabzy was making is that you can't blame Rashford for reacting in pain when his arm is pulled by Barnes, considering he's been playing with a shoulder injury all season.  I was pretty outraged by that from Barnes, I think he did it deliberately knowing that Rashford was carrying that injury.  He looked for that arm and gave it a yank as Rashford fell.

No-one is disputing that Fernandes has a bit of gamesmanship in him, he definitely does, and he walked a tightrope today.  Saying he should have been sent off is a bit of an exaggeration though in my opinion, as a few pretty minor fouls were made to look worse by Leicester players exaggerating every single challenge he made in a concerted effort to get him a red card. @Sirloin you're complaining that the ref didn't have the balls to send Fernandes off, but the ref was Mike Dean!  He never misses a chance to insert himself into the headlines and would have relished a back-page photo of him giving Fernandes a trademark no-look red card.

Anyway, it was a good game.  A couple of lovely goals in there.  Tielemans is a heck of a player.

Is it me or was Zaha a bit lucky to avoid a red there?  Seemed to have a couple of sly kicks and a bit of a swing.

Zaha has been displaying his full range of cheating in this game, falling into oppos to win fouls, sly digs and finally goading Mings into getting a 2nd yellow

Embarassing, needed a big performance after the Liverpool game and we get this pile of crap.

70 minutes to make a sub when we've been poor for the whole game and are struggling against 10 men, yet again no plan B for Hodgson.

Really can't see how Hodgson can justify some of the players played today (and not taking them off when he has had the chance).

Really impressed with Villa this season.  Saying fixtures get a bit tougher from this point is something of an understatement, our next five games are Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool (FA Cup), Spurs and Everton but we've still only played badly once all season (Leeds at home) and these last couple of weeks we've picked up 10 points from 12 despite having injuries, suspensions, sendings off and a couple of local derbies.  Very happy right now, we are currently above Spurs and Southampton with games in hand on both of them.
