It’s certainly been a pleasant surprise, but I think you’ll get in to second gear next half.

We've been this bad for a few games now. Don't be surprised if you get another in the break

First but of bad for about three years we don't seem to know how to handle it.

Floodgates might open now, the lads look knackered, but I don’t give a shit. They gave Liverpool a run for their money on 24 hours notice.  No matter what the final score is this has been a huge positive for everybody in claret and blue.

These Villa lads have been brilliant. Fuck any Liverpool-focused analysis post-match off and just show Barry’s goal and celebration on a loop for twenty minutes.

A strong Liverpool side, further strengthened with the likes of Thiago, needed over an hour to beat our kids. And not even the strongest kids side we could put out given some of them train with the first team as well.

Liverpool could score 20 and they could walk off with pride.

Not ending well for Rotherham.  A disallowed goal gives them extra time but they then go 1 down after 2 minutes of it and could now be dealing with a serious head injury.

EDIT : Looks like he should be ok, they were very, very careful moving him initially but he's walking now.

Didn’t watch Cardiff not scoring against Forest earlier, but enjoying watching the 3pm games on Final Score as so far 5 ex Cardiff players have scored, plus an own goal and a sending off from former Bluebirds.

That was a very enjoyable couple of hours watching final score finishing with Blackpool winning the shoot out.

In the end - 8 Cardiff players scored plus an own goal and a sending off.

I look forward to the article explaining how having a keeper who can't catch is the latest extraordinary Bielsa tactical innovation.

And deciding to not have a striker on the pitch in the second half.

The shitness and arrogance of Jo Hart perfectly exemplified in that moment he pulls his hand away from a shot that smacks into the bar.

Suspected that was going to be the high point for Marine

It missed. I'd say he had his angles spot on :eyebrows:
