Edge #347 | Inside Epic's Unreal Engine 5

Recommended Posts

Looking at that reminded me about Zinio, which the library I used to work at used for members to access magazines. Edge is cheaper on there, so I'll probably use that unless anyone has any horror stories...

Not having much luck with this month's issue, as it failed to arrive. So I ordered a replacement, and now that's looking like it won't arrive either. It was supposedly dispatched on the 1st July.

If you are desperate I'm happy to mail my issue to you? I should warn you (if you are a collector) the cover's a bit damaged by being folded to push it through the letterbox (A noticeable crease running through)

Thanks, but I do like my issues to be in great condition.

Ugh, getting tired of Edge's continued hard-on for everything Epic does

A month long hard-on can't be comfortable.

Imagine what would happen if Bungie announced that Destiny 3 is going to use Unreal Engine 5!

Yeah how dare Edge give coverage to one of the biggest players in the industry!

How long is the UE5 article? How much of it is filled by big pictures?

It’s a 12 page article, with 5 pages of body text and the rest being titles, captions, big pictures.

I'm not objecting to them covering Epic.

It's the grovelling "Epic are wonderful and can do no wrong" tone that gets me.
