kempstar
I have got the Evercade carts 1-14 sat on my shelf practically unplayed, and now no Evercade to play them on. What do you think is a good price to sell all of these together? Dont want the hassle of selling separately, ideally.

roberthazelby
Christmas was a great one for me. I can finally join in with the Evercade chatter instead of just reading about the fun everyone else is having. In the run up to the big day I’d also treated myself to the Irem and Oliver Twins cartridges, hopeful that I’d receive a VS for the big day. My most played games so far are Alwa's Awakening and Xenocrisis, followed by Mr Heli and Roland. I love the system. I’d read reviews that it felt cheap, and I disagree. It’s small but perfectly formed. I also love the d-pad on the controller. It feels like the one on the lovely Saturn mk2 pad. Many happy hours of gaming await.

roberthazelby
Received the latest email from the Evercade email list earlier. Quote … I have signed 11 new cartridges as of today with several more deals being negotiated as I write. We aim to bring you more variety, more big names, more hidden gems and games from other systems we have not yet seen on Evercade. We have some exciting things coming your way. Exciting stuff!
grungekid
I'm really really missing the ability to sleep the device for the EXP. Does anyone know if they're planning to implement a proper sleep for this and when?
Butters
Tempted by the Evercade in the Trading folder. What's the verdict on it these days? I know there's a new version out, but wasn't planning on spend that much on it.

They are great if you like collecting carts to play, loads of games out for it.
Butters
Yeah, I still like to collect physical games, so it seems a good one for that. I started to read the thread, but not far into it yet - were the sound issues etc sorted?
Robo_1
The first Amiga collection has been announced. Team 17: Full Games List: Alien Breed Special Edition ‘92 Alien Breed II Alien Breed Tower Assault Arcade Pool ATR: All Terrain Racing Body Blows Full Contact Kingpin: Arcade Sports Series Bowling Project X: Special Edition ‘93 Qwak The lack of Alien Breed 3D sucks and zero Worms games is also surprising. Not bad otherwise but the lack of AB3D makes it one I'll be leaving on the shelf.
Madjock
Kingpin: Arcade Sports Series Bowling, not thought about that game in a longtime. I'll be picking that up, often play Project X on my A500 Mini, happy to grab it again.

I guess it's because it needs a mouse (I think) - all the other Team17 games here are joystick games. (Not sure about Pool, also).
AceGrace
Plenty more games to choose from for a second volume though. SuperFrog Assassin Ultimate Body Blows etc... In other news my limited edition EXP has just arrived 🙂
bwi
Got my delayed exp ltd edition on firday. Seems a lot more weighty than the original and the screen is lovely. What did they actually do for the people that waited? Was it the little card packed in with the system?

roberthazelby Posted Thursday at 21:32 Share Posted Thursday at 21:32 Three months in with my Vs and I’m fairly pleased with the system and selection of games available. The recent OS update has fixed the scrolling in some games, but compared to MAME many titles have scrolling that’s nowhere near as smooth as if you were emulating it on a Pi, for example. The Toaplan and Irem carts are fantastic. Mr Heli seems to be my most played game recently. Looking forward to Toaplan 2 for Wardner as it’ll save me having to dig my PCB out. I’ll likely add the Amiga cartridge to the collection, but if the scrolling isn’t buttery smooth as it is on a real Amiga or A500 Mini I’ll be very disappointed. I’d really love a Gremlin or Spectrum cartridge.
