Have you watched Babylon 5? Because now it's time to watch Babylon 5.

(And I wouldn't bother with Altered Carbon, it's a bit shit)

Babylon 5 is indeed excellent.

Altered Carbon is not shit. :P

Little bit left field choice but if you've got amazon prime, The Man from Earth is worth a watch, I think it was recommended on here.

Sort of sci-fi, sort of philosophy, super low budget, but I watched it when I was ill and found it very entertaining.

Nobody has mentioned Sunshine? It's not just great, it's incredible.

It's has some moments, the visuals and score, but it has a particularly bad take on people going space crazy.

Spoiler

Ooooh. I looked at the sun. Wooooo! Spooooky!

I'm going to suggest the original The Day the Earth stood still. That's still a total classic.

Four replies and nobody mentioned The Expanse? There's madness in every direction.

Is the show considered equal to the books?

Marmite or the show?

Both, although I have a great deal more fondness for marmite.

I am unfamiliar with the literature.
