Wrong

Kendrick is good, Dilla was a legend.

Yep, I'm staggered anyone could think otherwise.

It's like saying The Beatles and Creedence Clearwater Revival are good. One is revolutionary, the other is a fine band.

I have an awful lot of time for J Dilla and there's a fair case that his lasting impact on the genre will prove more significant  but quoting that line from Kendrick and referencing braggadocio are just non-starters when trying to make a meaningful comparison between the two.

Ah, yeah, perhaps. I was grumpy last night.

I have heard 6 albums out of that list. I'm so out of touch.

You probably are if you grade how in or out of touch you are by a list of albums from the Guardian.

(7 here, not sure if I've heard all of one of the 7 though).

I've heard 84

It's a pretty boring list but that doesn't mean there isn't loads of good stuff on it. It would've gone down a lot better if it wasn't for the comedy Winehouse placements, but that does seem so very Guardian.

I like Amy Winehouse's singles, and the documentary "Amy" was excellent. But I've never heard Frank or Back to Black in full.
