Apple Arcade

Since getting Apple Arcade, my daughternow only ever plays a game called Sasquatch where you’re a Sasquatch and have to sneak into campsites and steal food. There doesn’t seem to be any progression, or consequence for getting caught, so it’s dead easy.
She’s just spent her full 30 minutes iPad allowance fishing on it. If I still played WoW she’d deffo be levelling up my fishing skills on every character. “I’ve just caught a lobster!”

Castle Crumble is this weeks game, from the same devs as that match 3 Spire Blast.

 

It's very similar to that in being an overly easy physics based 'boom blox' alike.

 

Like much on AA would be annoying as a FTP game but is an ok time waster.

My daughter has been playing this for a year, it’s all she’s plays. Sometimes Animal Crossing still gets a look in but mainly this.

Obligatory recommendation for Sp!ng. There was an update a few weeks ago with the rare treat of a new chapter of rush levels.

Oh I already have that.  Yes that will probably take all my time. Hoping to teach it to my daughter too, surely she’s sick of the Sasquatch game by now.

Been playing a bit of DoDonPachi Resurrection and it plays pretty well on the iPhone. Also tried getting into Monster Hunter Stories+ but I really wish I could play that one on the Apple TV.

What the Car is alright. It’s infuriatingly compelling in the usual way but I don’t think it has the charm of WTG.
