The I-Land

Recommended Posts

This looks like "What if Fyre Festival was a behavioural experiment?" With Kate Bosworth and Natalie Martinez.

Quote

10 people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there. As they try to get back home, they soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the I-Land’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves — or die as their worst ones.

The wife put this on this morning, and i became strangely interested. The acting is a bit off but the characters are likeable, and the mystery surrounding the island and how they got there is alluring. Anyone else watching it?

Are there flashabacks in this?

As much as I really loved Lost, I fucking hated all the flashbacks that had and ever since then every sci fi program has totally overused them too.

Finished this last night - have been watching whilst on holiday.

It’s utter shite with almost zero character development, terrible acting, no sensible plot and no real big idea holding it together.

All I can say is it rattles along at a right pace and isn’t dragged out, it’s rarely boring.

I wish I'd just watched that youtube video instead of watching the whole thing, utter utter trash, the acting was so bad it was almost compelling.

It just throws so much daft shit at you that I kept watching though.
