I'd love to go to a game in the states one day. If you have been, what was the whole day/event like?

Went to a Panthers Falcons game a few years back thanks to an American lass I was having a fling with at the time.

She was working as a paramedic on the game, and pretty much got me an all access pass. Stood in an end zone watching the Panthers warm-up. Never seen so many large humans in one space. The O and D lines are ridiculously massive, almost comically so.

My actual seat was in the upper tier and was pretty rowdy. Nothing worse than football in the UK really, largely just folk getting on it and blowing off steam.

On the way back to meet the lass after the game saw a young lad in a Falcons shirt get completely cold-cocked by a home fan. As we ended up in the same medical area albeit him with a bit more urgency got to see the that he was thankfully fine save for a huge mouse under one eye and being a bit shaken.

Wanted to see the Phins play the Bears when I was in Chicago but tickets were a bit rich. Did go to the first Wembley game. Obviously the Phish lost. It was fun but comparing the two it did feel like a watered down experience.

Been in three other NFL stadiums thanks to my old job and WWE connections… Levi’s Stadium was good but belting hot. The Superdome desperately needs a revamp, although imagine it would be loud af on game day. Jerry’s World is by far the nicest stadium I’ve ever been to. Sat in the club seats for WrestleMania, brisket on tap

Stunning place to watch sport, being a season ticket holder there must be crazy. And incredibly frustrating.

A few pics.

I've been to Wembley too, but it's not the same as the US I imagine. I've been to Fenway Park to see the red sox, which lacks the razzmatazz of nfl but it was a historic place with the most uncomfortable looking wooden seats I can think of.

I'd love to go to a big southern college game, with the band and the all that stuff.

Me and my mate are hoping to go over and watch a game again this year. He’s a jags fan and I’m a Commanders (sigh) fan and they play each other at fedex field this year. And although it’s an absolute shit hole it would be great to watch my team in their own stadium.

Will just depend on the dates I think.

I wasn't that fussed until earlier this evening but I'm excited now the build-up is almost done with. I just wish the pro bowl wasn't between the conference championships and the Super Bowl (ball? Some people say that or am I mad?) It kills momentum I reckon.

Pro bowl is hot garbage, I don’t watch it and neither does anybody I know. This years was particularly bad, I heard. Totally gets in the way I agree, should do it after the Super Bowl or better yet, not at all.

The American adverts on the NFL app are nearly as entertaining as the game. Certainly better than some boring English guy talking.

We’ve gone for the American coverage tonight too, the adverts are either amazing or utterly shocking 🤣

I enjoyed the one where Arnold Schwarzenegger was Zeus and Salma Hayek was Hera and they retired to Palm Springs but people kept bothering Zeus to charge the batteries on their stuff and then it turned out it was a car advert.

Yeah that was good, a lot of the good ones seem to turn out to be car adverts. Toyota with blind skier too
