To cap off a really weird season to be a Dolphins fan, we just fired Brian Flores...

I mean first back-to-back winning season since 2003, sweeping the Pats, turning a 7 game losing streak into a 7 game winning streak, in the middle of a team rebuild... now is clearly the time.

Chargers getting it to OT, with approximately 0.0 left onthe clock , after the Raiders were coming down the stretch with a 7 point lead.

Then as it looked like it was going to be a draw, after they both got a FG, Chargers took a TO at 2.00 minutes. This seems to annoy Carr and Jacobs who then got 2 quick downs in to take their TO with 2 seconds to go, and it's FG Raiders, and we are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Best bit was the lone Steeler fan in the Allegiant who was doing his nut when the draw looked probable.

Yeah, this pips it.

That’s a fucking ridiculous decision, the Dolphins are a QB and a decent offensive line short from being a really good team.

With the right o-line and a few years, Tua could even be that QB.

Christ. The Cowboys really are the poster children for ruining their season with stupid mistakes.

Yep.

But also I don’t get how a team with so many offensive weapons can consistently do so little. Dak just looks uncomfortable all the time, holds too long and then throws endless screens and flat outs.

Against really bad teams we look amazing. Any other time our offence gets bullied.

Oh, and our running game is broken.

All week long pundits have been saying Garopollo is a poor man’s Prescott. He’s looking far more composed and capable than Dak right now.

But Dallas would barely have deserved to win. They have to get their O-line and run game sorted for next season.

They are stuck with Elliot for the future and he is nowhere near worth his salary as I don’t think he’s even a top ten running back these days.

He looked good at the start of the season but he dipped with minor injuries. No explosive pace and no real power, at least not consistently. Pollard generally does much better. But… he distracts defenders and he’s great as a pass rush blocker.

With the receiver depth we have and with the way our tight ends play we should be able to do more damage in the air. But Cooper has hardly been a target in the last few weeks and Lamb had almost nothing his way today.

True. But I'd prefer to see one last play than the game finish because Dak forgot to let the ref touch the ball.

As a Cowboys fan, I really want to see them go all the way, and I do think they have the talent to do it. I think that if they'd played as well as they did earlier in the season, they'd have steamrollered the 49ers.

But you're right - they didn't deserve to win this game. They lacked drive and energy, and those goddamn penalties (which, unlike some other games this year, were pretty much all really blatant) made it way harder than it needed to have been. But to have the game end on a technicality is just disappointing as a viewer.

Dallas succeeding with that fake punt, only to delay the game the play after must be one if the dumbest decisions I've ever seen. Things go wrong, people make great plays etc but that was just dumbfounding.

Was a tense ending however it happened.

I just hope they haven’t missed their best opportunity. Jerry Jones outlined it after the game; players will move on in the off-season and the league is set-up to balance teams. This MIGHT have been the strongest roster we will see for some time.

Good point. Especially with how the game went, If it was a shoot-out or they lost by a missed FG, that's OK, but there was some bizarre coaching decisions that would make me reconsider staying in Dallas. Coaches can change though.

Their stuck with Dak and Zeke on big contracts. Amari Cooper is on a lot of money also, Parsons and Lambe(iirc) are still on rookie deals, so that's good.

Some great games coming up this weekend.

Bit late with this as I’ve been ill all week but a couple of crazy stats from the Bills win over the Pats last week:

1. The Bills never had a forth down all game. And even more impressive

2. The Bills had 480 yards of offence and it was the maximum yardage they could have gotten. The had 7 possessions and scored 7 touchdowns. Never happened before.
