How can some of you think the CGI in this looks ok? Poor Jennifer Hudson looks like Mr Potato Head in the way they've slapped human eyes, nose and mouth on top of a blurry fur background. The features don't mesh properly at all.

They have built sets - really bloody nice, expensive looking sets - so part of me wonders if they are actually using the footage of the actors from the performances somehow? I think this might be the rare example of a film that would've been better off produced on a bare soundstage, with the talent having to imagine everything and complaining that this wasn't why they became a thespian.

I've been trying to figure out why it looks so uncanny. I think it's the furry faces, I dunno... first the ghastly human / Sonic hybrid and now this. I'm kind of worried about Cheetah in the new Wonder Woman now.

If nothing else it only reinforces my opinion that furries are fucking weird.

I think they've stuck cgi fur on skintight suits or something. It's fucking disturbing looking anyway. Jennifer Hudsoncat looks terrible.

So, looks exactly like you’d expect and just rather average. Not sure why the internet is having kittens over it.

Because it looks weird. Most major films are pretty safe; this looks more like a B-movie from the eighties. It's a long-shot aesthetic the producers will be fervently praying catches-on.

It reminds me of the risks taken with stuff like Xanadu, or The Wiz but even more excessive.
