Ape Escape - New title?

With the recent success of the Crash and Spyro remakes, i can see this doing fairly well.

The originals were lovely little games.

I seriously doubt it. I don’t think anyone is buying those games because there’s a big market for colourful mascot platformers, it’s pure nostalgia. And nobody will be nostalgic about Ape Escape because nobody has ever played it. I say this as a big fan who owned and completed all three games. I have never met another person who has even heard of the series, let alone played it.

Really? I thought it done quite well when it was initially released. I definitely remember me and a few mates having it.

Wasn't there a bit of a crossover with MGS3 aswell?

I loved Ape Escape back in the day, really fun title and it's surprising that they haven't made more.

Hopefully it's not a new one though as I don't have space for a PS4.

I would love to see how they could evolve the concept onto modern tech. There's so much they could do with it - I hope it's true!

Only a Hogs of War sequel could get me this excited!

I'd love to see a new one - especially in VR. The original was all about the cool use of the controller, so chucking VR into the mix sounds ideal.

Thinking about it the Astro Bot formula is pretty much Ape Escape with robots.
