Whenever Pukki's not scoring, all the other players should be asking, "Where's Pukki?"

1. Stick that on a t-shirt

2. Profit

Laporte out for 3/4 months.

Kompany struggling at Anderlecht.

Jan swoop for Kompany? Otamendi has always been a bit of a liability and Stones must still be suffering from the Nations’ League nightmare.

Grant Holt when he was at Norwich was my favourite striker of all time. Pukki might just be getting my vote for "favourite striker of all time"*.

*nah, it's Gabriel Batistuta every time

Who would have thought a Man City without Laporte at the back would be shakier at the back than a Liverpool side with Adrian in goal.

I'm glad Manchester City have lost early just to stop all the "do you think they will go the season, nay, the rest of time unbeaten?" talk which kicked in at about this point last year.  They'll still post 90+ points.

City hate to be got at, I wish more teams would try it. It's great to see Norwich as a newly promoted teamstick to what they know best and see it come off .

I'm not sure it's the fact City hate to be got at, as you put it. More the fact City were horrendous in defence today. They really missed Laporte, it seems.

John Stones and Nicolas Ottamendi aren't good enough without a leader at the back. A bit like the Liverpool defence without Van Dijk.

True, but there have been other matches where teams have gone and attacked them and City found it hard. When teams sit back and try park the bus, that's when City run riot.

Ansu Fati became the youngest ever player named in a Barca starting XI tonight, at 16 years and 318 days, and capped it with a goal and an assist.

Luis Suarez got himself a brace, which somehow makes him the third highest LaLiga goalscorer in Barcelona history.

He's on 133 league goals, with their post-war striker Caesar in second on 190, and Messi on four-hundred-and-nineteen

Not suprised about Suarez ,Some of the great players you would associate with them like Romario or Ronaldo didnt stay long for whatever reason

Messi’s goal ratio is a staggering 0.93 per game.

Eto’o, for example, managed a pretty healthy 0.75 per game for Barca, scoring 108 goals in five years, but had several knee injuries during his time at the club. Kluivert banged in 0.49 goals per game, which looks very ordinary versus Messi but is still pretty good considering the rate of some other notable recent La Liga goal scorers, like Raul (0.41), Griezmann (0.42), Benzema (0.48) or Villa (0.53)

Staggeringly, Christiano Ronaldo’s rate was a ludicrous 1.07, including 34 hat tricks, in nine years.

Saurez currently sits at 0.78 goals per game, which is the sixth most prolific rate in La Liga history. He’s still a snide twat though.
